Ceramic baking beans. Approx. 700g. Helps to prevent blistering and shrinkage during baking. Totally heat resistant. 100% Reusable. Conduct heat for even pastry baking. Prick the unbaked pastry case with a fork. Cover with baking paper then fill with a layer of Tala baking beans. Pack the beans against the sides as this is where shrinkage is most likely to occur. After baking and when beans have cooled – remove and hand wash in soapy water. Dry and return beans to handy storage container. Contents cover up to 32cm / 13″ flan tin.
